Home Information Packs: HIPs (hips)

VENDORS, PROPERTY OWNERS!

Home Information Packs (HIPs) will be mandatory from 1st June 2007.

All home owners in England and Wales will need to prepare a Home Information Pack before putting their home up for sale. The pack will contain a set of documents providing important information about a property, including energy efficiency, searches and evidence of title.

The cost to the seller, before the property can be marketed, is estimated between £400 and £600. Arbor Estates can refer you to qualified Home Inspectors local to your area. For more information, please contact us.
